Modoo is easily my favorite Korean spot in the area. I usually get the mackerel and soondubu combo, and it never disappoints--the stew is rich and comforting, and the mackerel is always perfectly cooked. The banchan are super tasty and a great addition to the meal. The service is friendly and quick, the restaurant is clean, and the food always hits the spot. If you're craving Korean food, this is the place to go!

Great food and service!! The restaurant has a warm vibe and the servers are all very welcoming and attentive. All of the korean staples are fantastic, especially the spicy beef stew (it definitely has to be shared though). The restaurant is always crowded and it can be a bit of a wait to sit down, but it is definitely a must visit restaurant in north greater Seattle area. I do find it can be a bit pricey, but it's definitely worth it for the food quality!

Worth driving over an hour to eat here! Wonderful and flavorful Korean dishes served here. Our group of four tried three of the dishes. My favorite was the beef short ribs served like a roast with super tender and juicy meat and a deep rich spicy sweet flavored sauce. Comes with pumpkin, baked potatoes, and carrot slices. Also had a steamed/boiled pork served in thin slices that you eat as cabbage wraps and an octopus and spicy pork dish. Modern interior, this place was busy! We called ahead and got a reservation and despite being busy the service was good. Portion size is huge, we ordered way too much food but brought it home to eat later. Well worth the trip!

Mmm mmm good! Loved everything we tried. We had takeout so I can't comment on service or ambiance. The standout dish is definitely kimchi soup. The veggie pancake was huge and crispy, it's like a whole pizza! Beef bulgogi was juicy and flavorful. I found it interesting that it's served with forbidden rice and not white. I wonder if there's an option to substitute for those who prefer white rice? Prices are comparable to other Korean places. Portions make up for the price. I would definitely want to try more dishes here :)

My friends and I went here yesterday around 6:30, and fortunately, there was no wait, so we could sit right away. We ordered the gopchang hot pot, and I absolutely loved it. The portion was generous, perfect for three people to share. There was also a good amount of gopchang, and it wasn't too salty or bland; it was just right. We added udon, which was fabulous and paired perfectly with the gopchang hot pot. I'd say this restaurant never disappoints. I've tried the Gamja hot pot and bossam here before, and they were both excellent. The ambiance was clean, and I loved the music they played! it wasn't too loud and was just right:) The restroom was also very clean. The service was great as well. They were friendly and attentive! The service was great, the food was fabulous, and the ambiance was good. I'll definitely come back to try other items!

I've been wanting to try this place since FOREVER and finally got the chance to do so on a Saturday for lunch. When we arrived, we were 7th on the waitlist and ultimately ended up waiting around 30 minutes or so before getting seated at our table. Keep in mind they close the waitlist early to make sure they can close for lunch in time. We ordered the jjusami (pork belly and octopus), fried chicken (spicy and original), tteokkbokki with ramen, and bossam to split amongst 5 people. This ended up being so much food but we were able to take some leftovers home. All of it was absolutely fantastic and delicious - my favorite dish was definitely the jjusami as the sauce was so savory sweet and the pork was so yummy. There were also plenty of veggies in it too! The bossam was my next favorite, as the pork was so tender and juicy and the cabbage wrap was fantastic with all the additions. The tteokkbokki was exactly as expected, and the chicken was just decent too. I liked the spicy one, but not the original as much. I'd definitely recommend the jjusami and bossam if you come here! The banchan were all also really good. Be prepared for a wait, but the food is so delicious!

I've been coming here several times already. Went on a Friday around 5, and it was easy to get a table for two. I love their Jjusami and soft tofu stew. Never goes wrong with those, both are so tasty! The side dishes are also great. The service is great and very attentive. Kalbi Jim is okay. Tasty, but I wish it was softer as it's a bit hard to chew and cut with a spoon and fork. I prefer the version at Daeho. They've also nearly doubled the price from last year, but still a great place overall.

We enjoyed our dining experience at Modoo - food was authentic, staff was nice, and the seating (we got the table with partitions) was very comfy. We ordered the tofu stew, oxtail soup, and fried dumplings, and every dish was spot on. The oxtail soup was my favorite -- hearty, comforting, and full of tender meat. The broth was simmered for hours, which is incredibly satisfying. It's not too flavorful so they it also comes with salt and pepper for those who prefers a stronger taste. The tofu stew with seafood was rich and flavorful, packed with plenty of ingredients, while the tofu was soft. We also ordered fried dumplings, which were slightly underwhelming but not bad as an appetizer to start off our meal. Overall, I loved the food and the dining experience, it's definitely one of the more authentic Korean spots in PNW.

There were 3 of us and we ordered 2 dishes: * Jjusami: Both the octopus and pork belly were well-cooked. They put a lot of bean-sprouts, more than I like just because they make the sauce a little bland * Gopchang Hotpot: The beef intestine wasn't stinky like we thought. Broth was flavorful. Both sound expensive but the portions were actually huge. I didn't have either of the dish before and enjoyed them a lot. I just wish they were a little bit more spicy but I understand not everyone can eat like me :D. Service was attentive and banchan selection was also great.

I came here out of Friday night at Peak dinner time 630 pm, but there was plenty of seating and I was able to get a table of four right away. Employees were really friendly and kind and constantly checked in on us and I think that ordering the combo was perfect, we got to try the spicy jjamppong, and I would recommend the jjajang platter over the classic bowl because I feel like the seafood enhances the sauce. Everything was seasoned really well, and there was plenty of parking in front, it was just a little hard to go in the entrance because it has a small turning point but other than that, I would come again!
